(Computer Systems Engineering), University of South Australia, 1994 Experience Chakriya Bowman is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Island Pacific Research and Development and a Visiting Fellow at the Crawford School of Economics and Government at the Australian National University. She is currently employed as Trade Advisor to AusAID's Pacific Group. This research and policy role allows her to continue her work on trade, foreign investment and business development in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific. Recent Activities Chakriya held an AusAID postdoctoral fellowship from June 2004 - May 2005 with the Asia Pacific School of Economics and Government at the Australian National University, undertaking research on the economy of Papua New Guinea. Her final report for AusAID, Business Development in Papua New Guinea: Opportunities and Constraints, is published on the CIPRD website.
